Nolan Bade of Hartford, WI Selected as a NAU Golden Axe Award Recipient

Nolan Bade, graduating senior from Hartford, WI has been awarded Northern Arizona University's prestigious Golden Axe Award. Nolan, an Environmental Science major, was among only 43 students selected for this esteemed recognition.

Seniors that were selected from the nominees were honored at an awards reception on April 14. They received a certificate and a custom gold-plated lapel pin in the shape of an axe.

Recipients have made outstanding contributions to the university in academic performance, leadership, and university community service. Initially awarded in 1932, this academic year marks the 80th year that The Golden Axe Award has been celebrated.
